# Cannot update profile

 * When i log in as a user and i go to the profile page i am told that i can click
   on the gear in the top right to update my profile. When i click on the gear I
   only get the options: 1) My account 2) Logout, and 3) Cancel. I cant get to the
   screen that allows me to update my profile. Any ideas appreciated.

 * Thanks for getting bacb. I checked the settings and it looks good. Messing around
   a bit more i found that I can see the profile update option when logged in as
   a non admin user. The problem appears to be with admin users? Has anyone seen
   this?

 * Please go to your admin user role settings in Ultimate member -> User Roles -
   > your Admin role and make sure that you have “Can edit other member accounts?”
   checked.
