# CANNOT_BE_NEGATIVE

 * Hi, today a customer encountered the (frontend!) error ““CANNOT_BE_NEGATIVE Must
   be greater than or equal to 0. If the currency supports decimals, only two decimal
   place precision is supported.” What is this about? What could trigger it? We’re
   not using any dedicated discount plugins and this is the first time this happened.
   Our prices use two decimals.

 * In most cases where I’ve seen this error, it involved currency converters that
   were not fully compatible with PayPal Payments. Please follow these steps to 
   share your system status report with us:
    1. Navigate to the `WooCommerce / Status` section in your site’s admin panel.
    2. Click on the `Get system report` button and then click `Copy for support`.
    3. Paste the report into our [PrivateBin](http://privatebin.syde.com/).
    4. After uploading, please share the link here so we can review the details thoroughly.

 * It would be helpful to verify whether this problem can be reproduced in a controlled
   environment. We recommend using a [sandbox account](https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#testing-in-sandbox)
   for this purpose. Testing in a sandbox environment allows you to simulate transactions
   without affecting your live site.
 * Please set up a sandbox test and see if you can replicate the issue there.
 * Let us know the results of this test. If the problem persists in the sandbox,
   it could provide us with valuable insights into what might be triggering it, 
   making it easier for us to find a solution.
