Can't Access Dashboard
-
Hello, I’ve been having trouble with my website for a few weeks now, appalachiantrailgirl.com
The problem started when I switched my hosting to SiteGround about three weeks ago.
First of all, I can’t see my website on my own computer. It gives me an error of “403 Forbidden You don’t have permission to access/ on this server.” I can see it when I use other computers or use a proxy on my own. I did switch to a Mac a few weeks ago, but the I had the same issue with the previous computer I used.
Secondly, I can’t access my dashboard. This issue began about a week ago. I login to my wordpress account and it takes me to a dashboard. However, this dashboard is outdated to before I switched hosts. I have to click on “switch sites”. My website is listed twice under my account. I’m not sure why. When I try to go to the dashboard of my current site, it gives me a message of “cannot connect to server.”
I have tried contacting my hosting company about this, and they tell me that everything is find on their end and basically they can’t help me. I have tried logging in on different computers, switching wifi networks, switching browsers, and clearing my caches. Nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know if this is a hosting issue? Should I switch hosts again? Is this a WordPress specific issue?
Thanks for the help.
