# Can’t access HTML embed code menu

* Hi! I’m trying to access the HTML embed code menu in the “Edit box” view, as
instructed in the Knowledge Base.
* When I click on the button “Text” nothing happens.
* I’m using BeTheme, and version 5.5.1–es_AR of WordPress.
* Is this a known bug? How can I solve it?

listed?

* I opened the console and got this:

* Could it be a problem related to “wp-mail-smtp” or “joli-table-of-contents” plugins?
Or perhaps is it the error in red?

* Thanks for sharing that. Yes, this is possible. Can you please deactivate these
plugins and then test if the “Text” mode works in our plugin?

* I could solve it!
* If it’s of any use for the rest of the people out there, **it was a problem with
a** different **plugin called “Column shortcodes”**. After deactivating it, I
was able to access the “Text” mode.
I was able to detect it was that plugin
by inspecting the console error in red color.
