# cant access localhost/wp

 * I’m following this tutorial: [https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/](https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/)
   
   and in the part it asks me to access localhost/wp it says the “object not found”.
 * I followed the tutorial exacly, i don’t know what is the problem.

 * This message error means that the requested folder is not found on your local
   server inside the folder `htdocs` where XAMPP stores web pages.
 * Please make sure that your WordPress application folder is named `wp` to access
   it and install your website.
 * To solve this problem, just rename your WordPress folder to wp or whatever you
   want and try to access your website again from your browser address, using the
   chosen name.
 * Please let me know if this solves your problem 🙂
