# Cant access wordpress admin panel it says "Authentication required"

 * While trying to login to my newly hosted wordpress blog google chrome asking 
   for authentication login and password…It says “**Authentication required**“..
   dont know how to solve this? It also says **your connection to this site is not
   private**.I just installed wordpress in my cPanel and changed the nameserver 
   of the domain to current hosting account…tell me why I cant login to my wordpress
   dashboard?

 * You’re either using a plugin or it’s added by your hosting provider. You can 
   use your FTP and rename the /plugins/ folder inside /wp-content/ to something
   else to see if it works.
 * If it doesn’t then you can contact your hosting provider regarding this. Hope
   it works. 🙂

 * No idea, and that’s why asking you to rename the entire /plugins/ folder to something
   like /plugins-temp/ or something.

 * That’s an Apache authentication message. You might want to check your installation’s.
   htaccess file. If you have “WordPress hosting” (in quotes because most are garbage),
   you should contact your hosting provider and have them remove the Apache authentication
   from your site.
