# Can't Activate Plugins

 * Hi,
 * I can install plug-ins but most of them (average 8 out of 10) wont just activate.
   the whole site shuts down when I click on activate with a ‘server error message’.
   What can be wrong? It was this way too when I used versions 3.0 through 3.0.3

   It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
