 * I installed LoginPress, did some customizing in the configurator and tested
   it out. Worked fine, but in the end, I don’t need the plugin.
 * Even though I checked ‘Remove my custom settings.’ and ‘Remove Settings on Uninstall’
   before uninstalling, the LoginPress login screen with uploaded background image
   appears when I log out. Upon reinstall, the default background image is used;
   uninstall returns the uploaded image.
 * How do I remove the plugin and all its settings completely?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcant-completely-remove-plugin%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hey [@smiller24](https://wordpress.org/support/users/smiller24/)
 * This is the default behaviour of LoginPress and there might something conflicting
   with LoginPress.
 * If after uninstalling the image is still in place, then it could one of two things,
   either the image is set from somewhere else or it is being served from server
   cache.
 * However, kindly contact us with the log file of LoginPress at our [support forum](https://loginpress.pro/contact)
   so we can debug and fix this issue for you.
 * P.S: You can find the log file from LoginPress -> help.
 * Looking forward.

 * Thanks for the quick reply.
 * OK, then I misunderstand the default behaviour. To me ‘Remove my custom settings’
   and ‘Remove Settings on Uninstall’ should completely remove any customizations
   I’ve made. That doesn’t happen.
 * Once I _manually _deleted the logo and background image before deinstalling the
   plugin, I’m back to where I want to be.

 * Yes, I’ve resolved my issue. But I’m still not clear on what the default behaviour
   actually is (or should be). Would you mind explaining it to me?

 * Hey [@smiller24](https://wordpress.org/support/users/smiller24/)
 * There might be some problem making element in your environment which could have
   caused the background from not to delete properly.
