can’t do yoast recommendations later

Page is an example but applies to almost all my pages. Mostly after doing some of the Yoast recommendations in WP, but getting low scores, and not understanding fully what Yoast was suggesting, I thought I would do that later and started just creating a page in WP with a title only and then doing everything in WP. So there I put some text under the header, where it would be the first thing, as adding in WP under the title. Then I decided to go back to WP to see about those recommendations. I get the warning that going back to the WP editor may break my links, but I go just to see how it looks. I see only a little code under the title, no text, no gallery, no section with Yoast suggestions. No longer possible to follow any?
