Can’t edit Hestia About Section

    Hi,
    I’m trying to edit the content in the “About” section. When you click on the edit button under the text “About Content” nothing happens.

    I’m using Hestia version 3.0.8. I also rolled back to 3.0.6 and 3.0.5 and continued to have the same problem. I am using WordPress version 5.6 (latest). I also tried downloading the theme directly from the website (not installing it through WordPress).

    On the live demo on the internet this edit button looks different – it shows the Elementor logo and says “Edit with Elementor” (not just “Edit” like on my server). So I installed Elementor but this did not fix the problem.

    I then completely reinstalled my server VM, installed Elmentor first before installing the Hestia theme and still no good.

    I forgot to mention, I also have a VM running an old version of Hestia (2.5.7). In the same section this is the link on the edit button:
    http://192.168.1.104/wp-admin/post.php?post=15&action=edit

    This confirms that something is wrong in the new install or new version.

    Hi @bigbill51,

    Do you have any plugins installed or is it just the Hestia theme that is installed?

    Can you disable all the plugins to check if the issue persists (if you have plugins installed and activated).

    Also, do you see any errors in the console of the browser in Customizer when trying to edit?

    me too! I disabled and uninstalled plugins, emptied cache, opened and closed account and computer, tried a different browser… everything I could think of! I love Hestia but can’t get it to work 🙁

    also uninstalled and re-installed Hestia numerous times…
