I am having trouble editing some posts by users assigned to a specific role (author). If the user wants to edit the post, a white screen appears (print screen: http://prntscr.com/lbCSRxM8w9iw) and there is no possibility of editing. By default, a user can edit posts and posts he has created (http://prntscr.com/ucMixsbcZHb0). The problem appears periodically for different users with the same role (author) and it concerns only specific posts. A user with administrator privileges has no problem with editing. So far, I have worked around the problem in the administrator account by duplicating a given post and assigning permissions to it for a specific user – but due to the fact that the problem appears regularly from time to time and it is bothersome, I decided to write here.
PHP version is (5.6.40), plugin version is 2.3.4

    Hi @mikadoprojektowanie

Thanks for using PublishPress. It’s unclear if this is an issue with our plugin.

Can you see if you can find an error message, either in your browser console or your site’s error logs?

Hello Steve, thank you for your message. I appreciate your help. There is “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()” error in browser’s console. There is no debug.log file on server.

    Hi @mikadoprojektowanie

The next step is to try disabling plugins one-by-one to see if deactivating any of them can solve this.

Hello Steve, thanx for your respond. I deactivated most of the plugins (beside PublishPress Capabilities plugin and Advanced Custom Fields plugin) and it helped. What’s more – when I activated all plugins again, everything was working fine. Probably WP-ShowHide plugin cause the problem, because there is a lot content in post. If the problem occure again I will switch off and on that particular plugin and everything will be clear.
Thanx once more for helping me and I wish you all the best.
