# can’t edit wp-config.php

 * This problem is driving me nuts. I need to add tr_TR.mo to WPLANG in my wp-config
   file. So, I open up wp-config in Notebook, edit the file, and save it. Simple
   enough, right? Then I upload it to wordpress through File Manager and overwrite
   the existing file. I’ve also tried deleting the old one and uploading the new
   one. Under public_html the new file uploads, but none of my edits are there!
 * I’ve tried editing a number of things in the file all over the place and every
   time I upload it through file manager none of the changes are there.
 * If I open up the modified file saved on my computer, the file is changed, so 
   it’s not an issue with Notebook or my computer.
 * Now, I’ve uploaded the modified file to other folders, for example wp-content/
   uploads. It uploads fine and the changes remain. No problem. Then I try to move
   or copy the file over to public_html and once again, none of the edits transfer
   and it constantly reverts back to the original wp-config file.
 * I’ve got no clue on this one. I appreciate the help.
