 * Hiya Stig,
 * Sounds like a javascript error, possibly caused by a plugin or theme conflict.
 * The best way to get to the source of that is to switch to Twenty Eleven theme
   and deactivate plugins one by one to see where the issue arises.
 * Could you give that a go?

 * I switced to Twenty Eleven and deactivated all other plugins. Now it works. But
   when I change the size of the browser window, the chat box becomes very narrow.

 * I found it conflicts with the plugin Matrix Gallery. With only this plugin and
   Chat lite activated, chat does not work.
