Can’t export from data explorer
-
Hi
It seems that it is not possible to export from data explorer anymore. Trying to export results in a blank page. There is a little red flag, but naming etc etc seems to be okay. Can anybody help out.

Hi Lars,
When started this happening? Was there anything changed?
What version do you have installed? Can you share some screenshots? Do you see any messages in the inspector?
Thanks,
PeterIt’s Version 5.0.2. Screenshot

Thanks Lars,
When you open the inspector, do you see any errors? Especially on the network tab. Can you please check?
Thanks,
PeterHi Peter
Where do I open the inspector ?
Lars

Network. A new blank tab is opened
Maybe this error :
Uncaught ReferenceError: wpda_export_button_1 is not defined
onclick https://mgcc.dk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpda:1
admin.php:1:1
onclick https://mgcc.dk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpda:1Hi Lars,
Thanks for the info! I cannot reproduced this error. It works for me with the free and the premium version with different browser. Can you explain step by step how you start the export? Maybe we are following different routes? Maybe a step by step guide helps…
Thanks,
PeterHere we go :
1. Select WP Data Access
2. Select Manage on the table to make a export on
3. Select “Excel” and press the export button
4. A new blank tab pops up and that it.The blank tab contains a html start and end tag with head and body tags inbetween
Oh, in Chrome I get this Both in Ubuntu and Win10

I get the same problem. It was first reported by one of our team about December 10th.
When I load the manage table page I get this on the debug console

Hi Charles and Lars,
It looks like more people are facing this issue, but I cannot reproduce it. I need to be able to reproduce this issue to fix it. Can you help? If you have an add blocker installed, can you disable it for the admin page and try if it solves the issue?
Thanks,
PeterWhen you:
– open the Data Explorer
– select Manage on the table to be exported
– right click the EXPORT button
– open the inspector
– select the table above the EXPORT button
– copy outerHTMLCan you paste that into a code block for review? Or use the contactform on the plugin website or just mail…
Thanks,
PeterFound it!
You can forget my previous request. Sorry, I’ll fix this asap, release an update this week and let you know. Had one planned an update for this week anyway…
Thank you very much for reporting!!!
Best regards,
Peter -
