# Can’t find WordPress.com API key

 * At present there is only one way. You must sign up for a WP.com blog. Once you
   have that use the API for that blog on newsonic.
 * You can utilize the .com blog or just delete it once you have the key.

 * Marc, my understanding originally was that if the blog providing the API key 
   was deleted, inactive, or archived that the key *might* not continue to function.
   Did this get changed?
