# Can’t find WPCode Settings/Plugin Controls…Help!

 * I have been successfully using Insert Headers and Footers on many sites. I just
   went to change the header code in one of my sites, and the plugin was changed
   to WPCode (not by me, and auto-updates are not on!). The WPCode plugin only has“
   Deactivate”, but the settings/config access are not in Settings, nor in Tools,
   nor in the menu. I tried reinstalling and still I cannot find “WPCode” or “Insert
   Snippets”, nor “Snippet code”, or whatever it might say so that I can edit the
   previously inserted code!!! I see that my footer code is still inserted and working
   from the previous plugin, but I need to remove “donotfollow” code in the Header
   global code and can’t find the plugin window!!! Help!!!

 * I’m sorry about the confusion here. Your code is intact and you can still edit
   it like before from wp-admin > Code Snippets (in the left-side menu) > Header&
   Footer.

 * I wish that it were that easy. There is no “Code Snippets” or “WP Code” or “Insert
   Header/Footers” in this client’s dashboard nor in the left WordPress Menu!! That’s
   why we’re frustrated!!! (I emailed back a screenshot, but not sure that you can
   get it), so here’s a link to the screenshot:

 * I have the exact same issue. I updated the plugin yesterday and there’s no settings
   in the wp dashboard. I tried the link you posted above and it says I don’t have
   access to this page.

 * Can you please try deactivating the WPCode plugin and then activating it again
   to check if maybe the permissions were not assigned correctly during the update?

 * I followed the same advice … It was a permissions issue that caused the problem.
   Deactivating and reactivating fixed it (though reinstalling over it did not fix
   it, which is what I did first). Thank you for your assistance…That was stressful!!!
