Can’t get Theme Editor to take changes

    I just (finally) was able to install WP correctly, and decided to use the Law-Blog custom theme, and put it in my themes folder in the content direcory – and it shows up there and lets me choose it. Anyway, when I go to Theme Editor, and do edits to the html (I just wanted to start experimenting with colors) and press “Update File” it reloads and says “File was updated successfully!” – but when I view my page no changes have been made, AND when I go back and look at the html code in the theme editor, the color code numbers have gone BACK to what they were before I changed them.

    Help?

    Could be a cache issue. If you have wp-cache, disable it and delete the cache. On occasion I have deleted everything in wp-content/cache/* .

    And I use FF, so I’ll do a shift-refresh…

    When you’re in the theme editor, there’s a pulldown list at the top of the page to select the theme you wish to edit. I know this sounds silly — but do you have the right theme selected there?
