Can’t get wordpress.com to load from computer

    Hello,

    Since about 5 days ago I haven’t been able to access any wordpress.com sites from my laptop including wordpress.com itself and my own blog, juliallanflysouth.wordpress.com. It will just say that the page can not be found. I’ve tried FF, IE and Safari. I can access any other site that I’ve tried including ww.wp.xz.cn.

    I’ve tried using a friend’s computer and they can access wordpress.com sites just fine which makes me think there is something with my laptop.

    Does anyone have any ideas why my computer is not allowing access to the .com sites? A virus? Something weird in the cache?

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    Try checking your firewall and any AV software.

    Thanks for the response. I´ve done my best to quit the anti-virus software (McAfee) and turn off the firewall but it still won´t connect to those sites. Any other ideas?
