# Can’t Import WordPress XML

 * Hey all… I KNOW this topic has been addressed here, but I still am having issues.
   I’ve set all files and directories in, and including, wp-admin to 777 (and wp-
   content, for good measure). I export the XML from a blog living on wordpress.
   com which is well under the 10meg limit (about 400kB).
 * When I try and import I get a 403 the first time I hit the page. However if I
   refresh the page I get a page that says “Are you sure you want to do this?” WITHOUT
   any yes button or anything… the html ends after that statement. Further refreshes
   make no difference.
 * I’ve tried manually ftp’ing the XML into wp-content as well.. as I THINK thats
   where it wants to go (and setting it to 777), to no avail.
 * I have imported the same XML file into another wordpress blog with no issues…
