# Can’t manually update subscriptions

 * I am having the same problem as in [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/manually-updating-subscriptions/#post-9563277](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/manually-updating-subscriptions/#post-9563277)
   but was told by Steve Stern there to start a new thread. The proposed fix at 
   [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/mailchimp-integration-add-on-breaks-membership-interface/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/mailchimp-integration-add-on-breaks-membership-interface/)
   didn’t work, unfortunately. I’ve already tried deleting and re-adding members,
   but this did not fix the problem. I used to be able to manually add subscriptions
   to members and set their status to “Active”, but now membership 2 keeps resetting
   the status to “Pending” every time I save it on “Active”, rendering my membership
   site useless since I can’t give anyone access. Please let me know what to try
   next. Thank you! I really appreciate your attention to this!

   there are two patches provided. Please make sure you are using one from this

   not the earlier one.

 * Thank you, Kasia! I hadn’t seen the second patch there in that thread until you
   pointed it out to me now (I’m sorry!). I just uploaded that new membership folder
   and it worked to correct the issue! Thank you! I really appreciate it! And thank
   you for the rapid reply!
