I think this can be a plugin conflict. To determine that scenario can you deactivate all plugins except WP Mobile Menu temporarily and check if the submenu opens?
If it opens it means that is a plugin conflict. after that activate the plugins again one by one or several at each time and keep testing if the submenu opens until you figure out the plugin that is causing it.
Let me know what you find.

I closed all plugins except WP Mobile Menu, however still submenu did not open Unfortunately …
It wasn’t a plugin conflict.
I also tried a different theme temporarily and actually the submenu opened on mobile devices !
It seems something wrong with the theme I used…
(My theme is called “Linden Lite”,

I have no idea where problem is in this theme, but I might change to different one, which works with your plugin safely.
