    Hi,

I’m getting the error message “Can’t Parse Feed” from iTunes Connect. It says “Failed Validation” for this feed: https://www.inspirednewsradio.com/category/sales-with-sully/feed/podcast/

But when I go to CastFeedValidator it validates the feed:

    http://castfeedvalidator.com/?url=https://www.inspirednewsradio.com/category/sales-with-sully/feed/podcast/

The image is 1400 x 1400 jpg. We have the description entered. The iTunes category is selected. And we published one blog post with the mp3 (it plays correctly when I visit the post).

This is the second podcast we are setting up with Blubrry. I set up the first podcast along with each of its episodes and did not have any trouble validating the feed.
So I’ve gone back and doublechecked my steps for this new Show – but they look identical to the first podcast show I set up.

Is there a way to fix a parse error or do I need to pull the show and the blog post and start over? (Not sure why the cast feed validator validated the feed if iTunes Connect cannot.)

Any help you can offer would be appreciated,

    Thank you,

    Maggie

The first episode in the feed appears to have no description at all (show notes). Add at least a few sentences of descriptive information for the podcast episode, clear your browser cache, and try submitting again to Podcasts Connect.

The episode is not showing a description at all? OK. It actually has a single sentence in the text editor. Just like the first episode of the first podcast which was validated.

    Well. This is interesting.

The client is supposed to be supplying me with longer descriptions – I’ll see if any of them are ready and try again.

Thank you for the insight and the suggestion!

    Maggie
