# Can’t remove Google API string from URL

 * Good day,
 * I have recently removed this plugin from one of my sites as they no longer need
   the distance based shipping. But, the query string is still appearing in all 
   of my page URLs. I cannot find how to remove it.
 * So a page that should be [http://www.my-site.com/page-name](http://www.my-site.com/page-name)
   
   looks something like this: [http://www.my-site.com/page-name/?v=12dd123dc7d8](http://www.my-site.com/page-name/?v=12dd123dc7d8)
 * How can I remove this?

 * I can confirm this plugin has nothing to do with redirection or URL structure
   modification. And it doesn’t expose Google API Key to URL or to the frontend.
 * My suggestion please try to deactivate any of your plugins related to URL structuremodification.
