# Can’t update database

 * I updated the plugin today. Then I got this message at the top of my admin screens.
 * You have almost completed updating AdRotate to version 3.19!
    To complete the
   update click the button on the left. This may take a few seconds to complete!
 * Yet clicking on the big button doesn’t update the database, and the message will
   not go away. Going to the settings/maintenance panel, I find this…
 * AdRotate version Current: 386 Should be: 387
    Database version Current: 60 Should
   be: 61
 * Clicking on the manual “run updater” just takes me to the same big button, which
   still does nothing.
 * OK, I’m stuck. What do I need to do now?

 * Check your servers error_log file for errors mentioning AdRotate.
    Anything is
   interesting.
