 * Hi, I want to give users with the “Author” role access to the WP Import Export
   Lite plugin, but would like to know what specific capabilities the plugin uses
   to control access. Can you please clarify this?

 * The WP Import Export Lite plugin uses **custom capabilities** to control access
   to its features. Here are the capabilities you can assign to a user role (like
   Author) to give them specific access:
    1. `wpie_new_export`
    2. `wpie_manage_export`
    3. `wpie_new_import`
    4. `wpie_manage_import`
    5. `wpie_settings`
    6. `wpie_extensions`
    7. `wpie_add_shortcode`
 * You don’t need an external role editor plugin—**WP Import Export Lite already
   provides an option to manage role access** under the plugin’s **Settings** page.
