Looks good so far, maybe go away from the “blog” type site and try to look more like a “company site”. There’s plenty of themes around for you to get inspired by.

you need to rethink his statement, and the context you are using it, you customers will expect to be #1 on google search and you cannot achieve this consistently you will be seeing their lawyer rather than their accountant
Thanks for the comments, and good point, Jrodgers, I don’t really have a desire to meet my clients’ lawyer. I will change that. Do you think the penguin is a deterrent because it is to silly, or do you like it?
Hi, Micah. The examples in your portfolio look really good, so why don’t you make your site a little more like them? They are really colorful and eye-catching. Your site is nice but looks a little empty compared to the ones in your portfolio. Does that make sense?
On the plus side, I really like the directness. Too many people put up sites that are so confusing, you can’t tell what product they’re selling. You are right to the point.
