# Captcha does not work

 * hi there,
 * i tried to activate the captcha in the admin area. but did no impact on the subscription
   form. i cannot see any captcha element?
    i looked at the documentation and find
   out, that this is no premium element. so, what can i do to solve this issue?

 * The captcha is shown on submission, it cannot be added to a form since it wont
   work with custom forms.

    sorry, i dont understand. what means “submission”? i cannot see 
   any captcha.

 * in which step would i see the captcha? after click on submit, i get the normal
   opt-in email – no captcha.
