 * I am setting the width attribute on the caption shortcode to a value different
   than the image width. If I update the page while in “Text” mode, the width setting
   is preserved. However, if I switch from Text to Visual, the width value is reset
   to the size of the image.
 * I want to be able to set a width that is different than the image width and be
   able to use the visual editor. Is this a bug? Or can the caption attributes not
   be set if toggling between Visual and Text?
 * Thanks,
    Michael

 * Use CSS to set caption widths, not in-line “width=”. Please provide a link to
   a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.
