# Car-rental WordPress plugin adjusted for specific functionality

 * Hello,
 * My question below is plugin-related, but since I don’t have a specific plugin
   in mind that might fit me, I posted in this forum for miscellaneous topics.
 * I am looking for a WordPress plugin that will function like a **car-rental plugin**,
   having the following functionality:
 * The aim of the plugin will be to allocate available cars to people that want 
   to travel to one common destination and share each car, instead of each passenger
   using his/her own car, so people can share cars and gas cost.
 * The available cars will be booked without payment, and will carry a max of 4 
   passengers (including the driver) to a specific destination.
 * Each available car will have a departure place.
 * So, a site visitor who is interested in booking a car, will see a list of the
   available cars and their departure place (so he/she can decide if the specific
   car departs from a place close to him/her) and book the car. When a car is booked
   with it’s driver and another 3 passengers, it will become unavailable and the
   personal data of each passenger will be sent to the site admin, along with the
   specific car plate number.
 * Now, there can be a case where the owner/driver of an available car doesn’t have
   any bookings in his/her car from other passengers and finds another available
   car where there are vacant seats for booking. He/she should be able to remove
   his/her car from availability and book a seat on the other car.
 * Is there a WordPress car-rental plugin that could have this functionality after
   adjusting it’s settings to the above scenario, or something close that could 
   be code-tweaked in order to adjust it to the above functionality?

 * I don’t think there is anything suitable for this. But you could start researching
   with one of the Bookings plugins: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking-system/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/booking-system/)
 * You can book anything – whether it’s a room, bike or car, let’s just call it 
   an “object”. The function of this plugin would “only” have to be extended by 
   the number of people who can book the property independently of each other, up
   to a maximum number. You may also need the help of the support team for the plugin
