# Categories doesn’t show posts

 * on the website [http://www.perceptualdynamics.be/](http://www.perceptualdynamics.be/)
   i have the problem, that under News and Vacancies, i don’t get any posts shown.
   But under Projects everything is working well.
    I recently migrated the website
   from a local prototype to the webserver. I also disabled all plugins without 
   helping in the problem.
 * Even when i add a new post in the news or vacancies category it doesn’t show 
   up.
 * Any ideas where could the problem be?

 * Have you tried:
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder and wp-
   config.php & root .htaccess files – from a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make
   sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new
   ones.

 * Thank you very much, indeed it was a theme-specific problem. Still no idea why
   the same settings were working on the prototype.
