Any way to pull the categories over from a site, it’s in the RSS?

@seefor yes, it’s possible to import and auto-create taxonomies from the RSS feeds. See How to Set Up Feed to Post’s Taxonomy Options (Categories, Tags, etc). To achieve this you need the Feed to Post and Categories add-on.
