    Hi

    if I have two categories in my WC store:
    1- Girl
    2 – Footwear
    and their mapped google category for example is:
    1- Girl {540 – Baby Girl clothing}
    2- Footwear {550 – Baby Footwear}

    But if my product has both of these categories (Girl & Footwear) the plugin shows google category (540) which is for Girl in the feed not the 550 which is for footwear.

    Please guide how can I change this mapping order/priority.

    Regards

    Hi @jerry0000

    Thanks for reaching us.

    The feed will include only the first category the product is assigned to as google won’t accept two category id as the category field value.

    Hope you are clear. Please, let me know if you have more queries.

    Best regards.

    Hi

    Can you suggest any workaround so that only the desired category got selected? I can’t restrict only one category to a product. I’ve to assign multiple categories to products for calling them on their specific pages.

    Hi @jerry0000

    Sorry! The items will get the last category assigned to them, and there is no other way to get a specific category.

    Thank you,

    Then i would suggest you step up your game to support it. I understand that *google* won’t allow it. But if you would allow us to target it with a dynamic attribute it wouldn’t be a problem. It is a feature of wordpress (and woocoomerce) to allow multiple categories. One would expect a feed plugin to accommodate.

    And just for the record, i tried extracting the wanted category path using a dynamic attribute, but since the “category path” contains *two* category paths (this is a bug in my opinion) it didn’t succeed.

    Hi There,

    Is it possible to receive the primary category as the mapped category?

    I have selected multiple categories for my products but the one that is less important, is selected in the category mapping tool.

    Kind regards,
