# Category Sorting Shortcode not working

 * I need to sort the categories but the following shortcode isn’t working:
   [fooditems
   category_menu=”pranzo-lunedi” cat_orderby=”ID” category_order=“asc”]
 * Am I doing something wrong?

 * You can remove the order by parameters from the shortcode and simply navigate
   to Food Items > Category and then just drag drop the categories as per your convenience.

 * Sorry but unfortunately this doesn’t work, when in the backend I drag and drop
   them if I reload the page the categories come back in a random order and then
   in the page nothing changes and they are still displayed randomly
