Category/reorganizing help

    I run my brother’s travel blog and need some help/ideas. He was travelling the world for a year and went to 20+ countries and is now finished. We categorized each post by country. Since being finished he has been on 3 or 4 trips. We want to separate each trip so it is easily viewable, but keep the categories as countries. Any suggestions?

    I’d like to be able to continue posts on the main page, is that possible?

    Yes – that would still be possible. These Pages would be used as well as your main posts page. Another option would be to tag all of the posts with trip-specific tags.

    In the Categories is it possible to have sub-categories? For instance:
    1 Year Trip
    Country 1
    Country 2
    Country 3
    Alaska Cruise
    Alaska
    NYC Trip
    New York

    Can all of those be displayed like that or in hidden dropdowns?

    is it possible to have sub-categories?

    Absolutely. When you create new categories, you can choose to have them either top level or you can choose a pre-existing category to be their parent. These child categories can be hidden or displayed – depending upon your theme.

    I Googled “accordion menu jquery” and found quite a bit of stuff, however… I don’t know how to implement it into my site. Also, it seems every menu has an image behind it, can I make it just simply text?
