# Causing publishing failed error

 * I’m using your plugin on my portfolio site to add references to related evidence
   posts (at the bottom of completed pages). I purchased the pro version to access
   the filtering options, which work well.
 * I’m overall very happy with it, except the lack of ability to save default colours
   etc.
 * It’s actually working fine, but when I add a post block to a page, I get an error:
   Publishing failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
 * Most times, the publish has actually worked despite the error, but it’s not making
   for a smooth workflow.
 * If I remove the block, the error goes away.
