 * I did a vivino product feed and am now trying to do a google shopping product
   feed.
 * The attributes title, description, link, product-type, image_link, condition,
   brand, mpn and color all have <![CDATA[ ]]> surrounding the entry.
 * I haven’t seen this before. It wasn’t in the vivino feed. Is this correct? Can
   you explain?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcdata-4%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi,
 * Yes, this structure is alright, you shouldn’t face any issues regarding this
   <![CDATA[ ]]> tag.
 * CDATA stands for Character Data. You can use this to escape some characters which
   otherwise will be treated as regular XML.
 * The data inside this will not be parsed.
 * I hope you understand.
 * Do let me if you have further queries.
 * Thank you.

 * Seems messed up.
 * You have a CDATA option. Why not actually allow the user to select when to use
   it and when not to?
 * Also, you leave html within the CDATA because it shouldn’t be parsed? html should
   be parsed.

 * Hi,
 * Well, right now CDATA is set as default for Google Shopping, however, we are
   adding your suggestion to our backlog and hopefully we will add this option in
   the future if it seems feasible.
 * Do let me know if you have further queries.
 * Thank you.

 * I just tried this plugin and also same thing surprised me, I haven’t seen it
   before and was looking for an option to turn it off.

 * Hi,
 * I understand your concern, and as I said earlier that we are adding your suggestion
   to our backlog and hopefully we will add this option in the future if it seems
   feasible.
 * I hope you understand.
 * However, I’m marking this thread as resolved. I’ll get back to you if we integrate
   this feature in the future.
 * Thank you.
