# CDN Error.

 * After updating the the latest version the CDN URL re-write has stopped working
   as expected.
 * Options Selected (General)
 * CDNL: Enabled Ture
    CDN Type: Amazon CloudFront
 * Test CloudFront distribution returns: Test Passed
 * All other setting are set to deafult
 * The URL returned is
 * [http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/”http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/http://coolmore.com/australia/”http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/](http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/”http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/http://coolmore.com/australia/”http://xxxxxxxxxx.cloudfront.net/)
 * It looks like the URL us getting duplicated multiple times. in some instacne 
   it is twice / others three times. It is also adding the URL ‘lang’, ‘name’ and‘
   rel’ attributes.
 * Can you advise a fix please?

 * In the Custom File List box (under the CDN tab) are you by chance using **{uploads_dir}**
   placeholder or a full url (one that begins with http:// or [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cdn-error-3/?output_format=md))?

 * Yes we are, the complete list is;
 * favicon.ico
    {wp_content_dir}/themes/THEMENAME/ {uploads_dir}/* {wp_content_dir}/
   gallery/* {wp_content_dir}/uploads/avatars/* {plugins_dir}/wordpress-seo/css/
   xml-sitemap.xsl {plugins_dir}/wp-minify/min* {plugins_dir}/*.js {plugins_dir}/*.
   css {plugins_dir}/*.gif {plugins_dir}/*.jpg {plugins_dir}/*.png
 * This was set-up before we took over the hosting. Will it work if we remove the{
   uploads_dir} line? It has been working previously.

 * Alternatively, you can replace `{uploads_dir}/*` with `/wp-content/uploads/*`
   in the Custom File List and it should work as expected.

 * Should add I didn’t try the first option. I prefer not to tinker with a plugins
   code if it can be helped.

   this WP support forum really needs to sort the newest updated threads to the 
   top like the previous theme did…i had forgotten to check back here until just
   now 🙁 — i guess i should have been subscribed…totally forgot.
 * Ahhh yes that bug. Yea i fixed it a while back and placed it in w3tc-fixed community
   build which the w3tc author does go to and implements bug fixes we create for
   his next releases. So it’ll be in it.
