# CDN – Push programmatically?

 * I am writing a file created whenever a particular type is saved. The file is 
   in custom files section of the CDN Push input box but I do not know how often
   it is checked / reuploaded. Is there a way to programmatically push the file 
   to the CDN with W3TC? A function or method that pushes a file, possibly defined
   as a parameter, to the CDN assigned in the W3TC settings?

 * I recommend using an origin pull CDN and specifying a custom file path in the
   CDN settings, otherwise you have to use the auto-upload feature for origin push.
