# CF7 Validation / styling

 * Hello,
 * I used to be a CF7 fan, but recently i started to be seriously annoyed… to match
   my design. I had to remove the extra 
    tags (seriously ? who still use  tags 
   nowadays ?) via wp-config.php and extra <span> tags in the plugin php files (
   i wont do any comments about span wrappers…)
 * but i dont understand why we cant have the default HTML5 validation ?? the classic“
   required” attribute instead of aria-required=”true” ??
 * Can we add required attribute easily ? or we have to edit again the plugin files?

 * I’ve styled a large number of CF7 forms and have never found the extra tags including
   span tags to be an inconvenience. Interested to hear why you find these problematic.
