# change admin user level

 * I have just installed v2.1 WP and have not been able to find a way to change 
   the admin user level. I am not sure what it is set on but I know it is under 
   8.

    admin -> Users -> check box by admin ->set role 
   to admin ->save

 * I should have mentioned in the first post that the upload button is not available
   when I am writing a new post. I was assuming this function was not activated 
   because of my Administrator level. This is a 2 part issue the first being the
   inability to post images and the second not being able to “PROMOTE” users.

 * I can not enable uploads either. Would it help to reinstall?
