If you want to include ratings in the snippet, only some snippet types support it nowadays, and Google doesn’t support ratings in Article, WebPage or similar. They can have rating inside, but Google will not use it. Most snippet types supporting ratings are quite complex and very specialized. My plugin supports Product, SoftwareApplication that both allow ratings, but each requires a lot more data inserted for each post to work.
