I am using the All in One Event calendar with the Divi theme from Elegant themes.

When you view the events, the background is all white.
How can I make it transparent so my background image is visible in the background?

On the event page it is all white:

The background is also white on the “Posts” pages?

Then it would be best to contact the Divi theme author, the Event post is created as a custom post in WordPress, and uses the default single post template > single.php, in your case: /wp-content/themes/Divi/single.php, so the layout depends on wp theme.
