Change button text

    Is it possible to change the “Checkout” text in the cart within the admin panel or with a functions filter please? If the latter, please could you give an example?

    First of all, you can kindly refer to this guide https://wpclever.net/faqs/plugin-translation for plugin translation, use the LocoTranslate plugin and search for that string to change the text. Give it a try to see if this is possible to change that text.
