Change Date To Re-Post

This is actually a pre-trial question. If my client changes the date of a post, will it re-post to all her selected social networks? Or does she even have to change the date to get them to re-post? She is a recruiter and she uses posts to advertise jobs. She feels that jobs posted 2 months ago are old and wants them to appear fresh on her social networks so she changes the dates but Jetpack will not re-post them.
