Change form action link or validation

    Hi

    Thanks for this plugin – really got me out of a hole!

    I have a one-page website and would like to be able to validate the form prior to submission or move to an anchor point (as form right at bottom of page) if form fields fail. Is this possible? Currently, if you fill in form incorrectly, you don’t necessarily know unless you scroll back down to it to check once submitted.

    Hi Mark,

    Glad to help. Currently the plugin does not provide any front-end validation (it does validate/sanitize on the server side), but it may be possible to add a validation script such as Parsley.js or similar. Not sure how difficult that would be, but it’s an option that should give you some ideas.

    Thank you Jeff – will have a look at that library. Do you know if there’s a way to redirect upon submission to a link with an anchor rather than reload the page?

    My pleasure, Mark. And no I’m not sure if that is possible. Unless there is a JavaScript/jQuery snippet out there that will do it, maybe worth checking out.
