Hi @joyryde,
I’m afraid that unfortunately our UPS Live Rates plugin allows to define only one Custom Origin at the moment, apart from the default WooCommerce store address. However, we do receive a lot of inquiries on this matter and we plan to add such feature in the future updates.
Would you be so kind and provide us with some more details on how would you like it to work in your case? Should the plugin add the possibility to define the address each product is shipped from? How it should behave e.g. when the customer adds 2 products to the cart shipped from different locations? Should the cart be automatically splitted into 2 separate packages or should the live rates’ cost be simply summed up?
We’d be grateful if you could share some more details on you specifc use case.
Kind regards,
Luke
Hi Luke!
In an ideal world, we would bulk set origin zip codes by brand on our website. We don’t particularly care about the whole address so much as just a zip code.
In our case, we often get orders for 10 line items, each of which ships from a different zip code, but many of which have free shipping already included in the price, so we would want UPS, Fedex, or USPS (We use all of your plugins) to add shipping only for the items that require it. Our shipping is super complicated and has been a nightmare to get working.
Our origin address is in Vermont, so when one of our vendors ships orders from California, they charge us shipping thats triple or quadruple what our cart charged the cusotmer.

Hi @joyryde,
Thank you for your reply and the deeper insight into your use case. According to what you have written I believe that in such circumstances, apart from multiple Custom Origins, the shipping classes support and advanced free shipping settings might come in handy as well. I passed your detailed feedback to our Product Owner for further analysis. We will keep you updated on this matter once we get the things moving forward.
Kind regards,
Luke
