# Change Permalink

 * Hello, is the plug-in below possible without using the plugin?
 * 1-) As you know, if the customer clicks on a category, he / she gets a permalink
   as follows:
    [http://www.example.com/product-category/parent-category/category](http://www.example.com/product-category/parent-category/category)
 * However, I want to define it as follows:
    [http://www.example.com/category](http://www.example.com/category)
 * 2-) As you know, a definition is made for products as follows:
    [http://www.example.com/product/sample-product](http://www.example.com/product/sample-product)
 * However, I want to define it as follows:
    [http://www.example.com/sample-product](http://www.example.com/sample-product)
 * Is it possible without using this plugin?

 * For this, you can achieve it by going to **Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks 
   > Optional > Product category base**, and from there, type _category_ on the
