# change permalink going forward?

 * Does anyone know of a way to only change the permalink structure going forward.
   I tired just changing the structure of the whole site then using 301 redirects
   in the .httaccess but I began to notice site speed performance issues. Any help
   would be awesome thank.

 * There is no way to do this. The permalink structure affects the whole site and
   cannot be limited to just part of the site.
