# Change single item's CSS (current/active)

 * I need to change the background of one single menu item with CSS, as I don’t 
   want this item to have the same background color as another active item:
 * `LI#menu-item-ID.menu-item.menu-item-type-custom.menu-item-object-custom.current-
   menu-item.menu-item-ID`
 * No effects on changes, unfortunately. Suppose plugin is using !important on this?!
   
   Happy about any help with this

 * There is an option to remove the !important tag in the admin, please tick this
   and it will be removed.
