hi, this seems like a real dumb question but how do i change the site logo from the default box? I can’t seem to get it. When i click on the site logo i do not see a “replace” option as the WordPress help docs say that I should see. Thanks!

Hi @maestro42, thank you for using Blockify. Not at all, and there are no dumb questions, especially when it comes to new technology.

The theme preview is using the “Icon” image block variation. You can replace the Image/Icon block with the Site Logo block. You can also remove the Site Title block if that’s not required.

I also recommend having the Block List View sidebar open whenever working with blocks. Please see below screen recording and let me know if this answers your question:

Hi @maestro42, I have written some documentation for this. It’s available at https://blockifywp.com/article/how-to-change-the-site-logo/

I’ll mark this as resolved but please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!

Hi that is super helpful. Thank you. For some reason in the earlier version any time I clicked on the logo block, it would not show me the option to “replace”. Now I see it.

When I updated to the latest version the entire formatting was broken unless I activated the Gutten plugin. Is that expected behavior? Is there a requirement for Gutten? I thought WordPress was building that into core? Will the Gutten plugin no longer be needed at some point? are you able to explain why it is needed now?

    Many thanks!
